In celebration of the release of the new cover of Heart on a Chain, I'm giving away a copy with the new cover. As a bonus, I'm giving the winner a copy of my newest novel Immortal Mine.
US domestic entrants will have their choice of ebooks or paper copies of the two books. International entrants will receive ebook copies of the two.
Why did I decide to change the cover? I can't tell you how many reviews contain somewhere within the words, "I almost didn't buy this book because of the cover" or something similar. I listened, and decided to revamp it. Hopefully, everyone likes the new look!

The new cover for Heart on a chain is very different and I love how its not way over done or anything tacky. I'm 50/50 between the new cover and the old cover, they both catch my eye :)
I actually like the old cover better lol! But I've never read this one (only have read Geek Girl, which I LOVED) and I'm eager to read more of your books. Thanks for the giveaway!
I'm not really a fan of either of them, if you will allow me to be honest. I LOVE the concepts. I just think that they don't come off professional enough. But I do think the second one is better than the first. :)
Dear Mrs. Bennett, I was looking through amazon trying to find a great book to read when I stumbled across a message forum raving about "Heart on a chain." I have stayed up all night reading it because I just could not put it down. It was an absolutely lovely, well written story. I forgot where I was. I became a part of the story. I don't usually write writers, but then I found out at the end that you live in Salt Lake, which is where I live. For some reason, that encouraged me to write to you. I just wanted to say thank you. Thank you for sharing your talent. And for addressing such a sensitive issue with so much compassion and love. I look forward to reading some of your other writings.
Actually I think I like your original cover the best. But while a cover may make me stop and look a second time, it would never, ever influence whether I read a book. The reviews and the blurb is what influences me.
I actually think I like the old one a little better, but I like both. Although since I normally pick up books based on reviews and if my friends like it, I don't always pay attention to covers.
I like the actual heart charm on the chain on the first cover, but I LOVE the closeup face shot of the new cover!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the cover! I'm a US entry.

ReplyDeleteI do like the new cover over the old one. If I were to pick your book based strictly on the cover, I'd pick the new one. It's more eye catching.
