Heart on a Chain available now!

Heart on a Chain available now from my website, or from Amazon or Createspace. Keep watch for detail on a giveaway of Heart on a Chain here soon!

  1. Hello! I just wanted to drop you a friendly note to let you know that I picked up both "Geek Love" and "Heart on a Chain," and I fell head over heels with them. I'm going to pass these both along to my fourteen year old niece.

Too much YA has romance with no depth, or violence is used as a sort of shorthand for character development, and neither of your books fell into that trap. I was really touched by both of your protags.

    Thanks for two beautiful reads!!

  2. Kristy - Thank you so much. It was so nice of you to take the time to let me know you liked the books. I hope your niece enjoys them as well :-).

  3. I'm absoutly loving Heart on a Chain, I've read the first 60 pages but now I must wait in anguish for my mother to come come so I can purchase this amazing story!
Beautifully written! I can't wait to read Geek love and any other works you produce in the future.

  4. Just read geek girl! Loved it! Posted my feed back on Amazon! Mow onto Heart on a Chain

  5. Donsher, thank you! I just read what you wrote on Amazon. I really appreciate it!

  6. Oh my! This has to be the most romantic book Ive read since Twilight. What made it better was that it was based on reality. No smoke and mirrors or ghostly gouls.
The book delved into the very real problem of child abuse and wove a magical tale of one girls struggle to rise above lost hope.
Kate's journey to self discovery is believeably written. And Henery is the most gracious person. I have met boys like him, though they are few and between.
I truely belive this would make a phenomenual movie.
I only hope you continue to write other stories as entrancing as this one. I thought fondly of the characters for several days after the last page was turned.
    Thank you Ms Bennett

  7. To Anonymous: Thank you so much for the kind words about the book. A book is kind of like one of your babies, so it's always great to get genuinely nice praise for it!

  8. I just wanted to say thank you for writing this book. I was abused by my father for many years, and I truly could feel the emotions jumping off the pages as I read. Most books can touch on an issue, but not go deep into the subject. When I read your book, it was amazing. Thank you!

  9. I am litteraly speechless right now. I just read your first 10 chapters (thank you for uploading that by the way) of Heart on a Chain and I am ATTACHED. It is so far, so see I told you I really do not have any words. It was a a very, very catchy book! Even though, I have never gone through this myself, I somehow fell what Kate is experiencing. Also, I checked with my local library and they did not have your book. Next, I checked in other libraries, and even in Borders and I didn't find it. I am really, really anxious o continue reading this well-crafted story! As soon as I find it first though. Don't worry, I'll keep searching! I LOVE HEART ON A CHAIN!
