My name is Cyndi, I love just about all genres. It's really hard for me to pick a favorite book, but I do love Pride and Prejudice. A modern book I love would have to be Sarah's Window by Janice Graham!
Hi Cindy! I sent you a long email. Please don't think I am too crazy. Hehe...just a little bit :0)! A year ago, I would have told you only liked Dean Koontz books and I read nothing else. It was not a lie either. I had not found anything I liked since I devoured all of Anne Rice's books. I was a very picky reader & only read paranormal books. That all changed about a year ago when I met an INCREDIBLE group of gals on a Twilight site for Mom. I then branched off to their book blog site the rest is history. Ever since I discovered the world of book blogging, I have become a new woman. I read EVERYTHING now. Every genre, every author. I sent a description to you in my email. There is just about nothing I won't read. I don't like gory horror though. Gives me nightmares. *shudders* I still love paranormal but I also love YA & just about anything else I get my hands on. Thank you for this WONDERFUL chance to win. Have a great day & thanks for a wonderful contest.
I usually prefer YA literature. I can't tell you a favorite book or author. There are too many good ones out there. I would love to be able to read your book and add it to my favorites list. ;-)
My favorite genres are YA and LDS fiction. My favorite books are all the cliches: Twilight, Lord of the Rings, and Harry Potter. There is a reason they are so popular! lexie.bookbug(AT)gmail(DOT)com
I love YA and historical fiction at the moment (it's cyclical). My favorite book is The Book Thief - the best audio book I've ever listened to. rlawrence110(at)yahoo.com
I'm a giving away an autographed copy of the supernatural thriller Drowned Sorrow for the Follower Love Giveaway Hop. Drowned Sorrow has been called "the scariest story of the year". It's the story of a remote village where water has become a supernatural element that can think... and kill. The giveaway is open internationally - http://vanessa-morgan.blogspot.com/2011/02/follower-love-giveaway-hop-win.html.
It's so hard to pick just one book. I follow so many genres. I got sick with a rare neuromuscular disease almost 4 years ago in March. My whole life stopped. I've always been a huge reader but I stopped reading for about 6 months, I think out of depression, Which is funny because every holiday I would be gifted with books or gift certificates to book stores. After 6 months I got a Kindle 2 from my husband and before you knew it, I was back to reading. Now, I read so much more than the standard Thriller or Romance novel-I still read them but now I read many other genres. My all time favorite books are The Stand by Stephen King (the extended version) and Swan Song by Robert McCammon. I also admit to loving Nancy Holder books, JoAnna Lindsey and Amanda Hocking whose and indie author that I adore: I've read every book she's written and somehow she inspires me. Right now, I'm in a bad flare-up (Please, no pity, that isn't the point of this comment, the point is what books can do for people, all people) People with pain read alot; it transports us to another world where sometimes pain can't come knocking as hard. So, to say do I have a favorite book, I would be disloyal to all those books that help through the roughest times of my life. Good Luck with your books. I'll be checking them all out. I'm always on the look out for new reading material!
I'm Kate. I love pretty much all books. I used to be into horror, and paranormal romance, and urban fantasy, but the new craze flooded the market with cheap imitations so now I tend to pick obscure Mysteries or thinks like that :D
I'm a romance kinda girl, with a primary interest in historical but will read other subgenres. Thanks for the giveaway and for participating in this blog hop!
